Event Email Notifications
The system provides the ability to configure and send email notifications based on events occurring during operation.
These notifications allow users to stay informed about important system activities, including:
- vending machine operation events
- payment notifications
- system status updates
- errors and alerts
The email notification subsystem enables automated communication and helps ensure timely monitoring of the system.
Configuration Workflow
Section titled “Configuration Workflow”To configure and manage email notifications, the following steps must be completed:
1. Create a Mailing List
Section titled “1. Create a Mailing List”Create a mailing list that will be used to group recipients for notifications.
2. Define Recipients
Section titled “2. Define Recipients”Specify the email recipients associated with the created mailing list.
Each list can contain one or multiple email addresses.
3. Define Events
Section titled “3. Define Events”Assign the system events that will trigger notifications for the selected mailing list.
Examples include:
- machine activity
- payment events
- system alerts
4. Configure Draft Creation Frequency
Section titled “4. Configure Draft Creation Frequency”Define how often email drafts are generated based on the selected events.
This setting controls how frequently the system collects and prepares notification data.
5. Configure Sending Frequency
Section titled “5. Configure Sending Frequency”Define how often the prepared emails are sent to recipients.
This allows separating event collection from actual email delivery.
6. Monitor Sent Emails
Section titled “6. Monitor Sent Emails”The system provides the ability to monitor:
- sent emails
- email content
- delivery status
This ensures transparency and helps diagnose potential issues.
