Overview
Section titled “Overview”The MX2150 Vending Unit is a central control system designed for self-service laundries. It enables operation and payment control for washing machines, dryers, and detergent dispensing systems through a single integrated terminal.
The system combines a modern touchscreen interface with multiple payment methods, flexible pricing management, detergent dispensing, and remote monitoring capabilities.
It is designed for professional laundromats, apartment laundry rooms, hotels, campsites, student housing, and other commercial laundry environments.
Components

Detergent System
Section titled “Detergent System”The optional integrated detergent dispensing system supports:
- Powder detergent
- Liquid detergent
- Fabric softener (optional configuration)
Features:

- Separate dispensing compartments
- LED status buttons for user guidance:
- Green = ready for dispensing
- Red = dispensing in progress
For commissioning and calibration, industrial-grade detergent is recommended. Household detergents should be avoided; coarse-grained detergent (for example Sapton Blue) is preferred.
User Interaction
Section titled “User Interaction”Customers can:
- Select washing machines or dryers via touchscreen
- Choose washing programs
- Pay using their preferred payment method
- Receive automatic change
- Purchase detergent
- Use RFID customer cards

- Receive printed receipts
The system is designed for intuitive and fast self-service operation.
Technical Concept
Section titled “Technical Concept”The MX2150 is based on an industrial embedded control system.
Communication options include:

For operation monitoring, email services, troubleshooting, and remote control, an active internet connection is required.
An internet router must be provided by the customer.
If required, a preconfigured mobile communication solution with SIM card can be supplied.
Internet access is mandatory for commissioning.

The detergent dispenser can be installed on either the left or right side of the control unit.
Electrical Installation Requirements
Section titled “Electrical Installation Requirements”Required electrical connections:
- Power supply for central control unit: NYM 3x1.5 mm²
- Ethernet cable from router to central control unit with RJ45 connector
- Cables to all washing machines and dryers
Bus Connection (recommended)
Section titled “Bus Connection (recommended)”When using bus communication:
- One cable for washing machines
- One cable for dryers
Each routed only to the first machine.

Individual Connection
Section titled “Individual Connection”Alternatively:
A separate cable must be routed from the control unit to each machine/dryer.
Important:
- Cable lengths must be sufficient
- All supply cables should extend sufficiently above the control unit opening
- Recommended: horizontal cable duct of minimum 50 mm above the openings for routing all cables including detergent dispenser cables
Before commissioning:
All washing machines and dryers must be electrically connected and fully operational.
